Project description: The study involved the design of harbor works for 30 sailing boats and yachts up to 15.0m length in front of a five star hotel owned by “Troulis S.A. Hotel” at Panormo (north Crete), as well as the coastal management planning.

Works description:
  • 138.0m windward quay wall with composite cross section, seawall with mass concrete units and rubble mound with Accropode. The berth is 78.0m
  • 110.0m leeward quay wall with composite cross section, seawall with mass concrete units and rubble mound with Accropode. The berth is 64.0m
  • 30.0m groin with rubble mound cross section with rocks in order to protect the beach fill at the base of windward mole
  • 47.0m rock armour revetment in order to protect the beach fill at the base of leeward mole
  • 45.80m and 77.0m length of sandy beach between the two moles
  • Land area with access roads, plants and pedestrians
  • 7.0mx12.0m area with auxiliary and control building with offices etc
  • Land facilities (waste water collection tanks and oil residues) and electrical facilities platforms (electricity supply, water supply, fire fighting, etc.)
  • Equipment for safe berthing at all berths
