Project description: The study project involves designing projects to combat erosion of the coastal zone in front of the settlement, Kordia which is located west of the city of Kalamata. This area faced the severe problem of erosion that caused the wave action. The total length of coast that was studied was 500 m. The environmental impact study investigated the effects on the natural environment of the region and, on the other hand, the consistence of the proposed work with the local and social requirements of the region of the project, the safety and the protection of public health and the environment.
