Project description: With the process of drawing up of environmental studies, it was explored the impact on the marine and terrestrial environment before and after the construction of shelter works to serve 15 vessels. In study which took place we considered the developmental planning of "ALMAR S.A." in conjunction with the company's policy for the protection of the environment, in order to determine whether the proposed work is consistent with the local and social requirements of the region of the project, the safety and the protection of public health and the environment.

Works description:
  • 132.0m windward quay wall with composite cross section, seawall with mass concrete units and rubble mound with rocks.
  • Opening on the quay wall in order to seawater renewal
  • 135.0m beach fill with sand
  • 88.0m concrete retaining wall, covered with stones, back of the beach fill area
  • Floating pontoon
  • Land facilities (electricity supply, water supply, fire fighting, etc.)
